About Air Optix Multifocal contact lenses

Ciba Vision Air Optix Aqua Multifocal contact lens are monthly multifocal disposable soft lenses designed for presbyopes. Buy one box of 3 lenses.

Air Optix Aqua Multifocal contact lenses are the lens of choice if you suffer presbyopia.  No longer do you have to tolerate separate reading glasses for use over your contact lenses.  The lens corrects both your distance and reading vision and the seamless multifocal design works with your eyes' natural function to allow uninterrupted vision at distance, intermediate and near.  The contacts are able to be supplied with three different add powers for a smoother transition.

The  Lotrafilcon B  material has been approved for up to 6 days of extended wear. This is possible since the silicon hydrogel technology in these lenses allows more oxygen to reach your eyes than ordinary contact lenses. They feature Alcon's Aqua Moisture System for extra comfort. This allows the lenses to maintain greater moisture and less dryness resulting in increased wearability and less symptoms of ocular irritation.

Although the Lotrafilcon B material has been approved to be worn sleeping as a flexible wear lens, only your eye care provider can determine if these lenses are right for you and how many days and nights you can wear them. It is important that you follow your eye care provider's wearing instructions.

Air Optix Aqua Multifocal contact lenses are also marketed as Easyvison IRISIAN MULTIFOCAL.

4 startsThese multifocal lenses provide good vision for me. They aren't as good as my multifocal spectacles, but my eye care practitioner did tell me this. For multifocal lenses I get about 90% vision, which is great for me. I do need to use wetting drops occasionally as I work in an office which is air-conditioned and work on a computer screen all day. Other than that they are comfortable and easy to handle.

5 startsFor years I'd been wearing gas-permeable mono-vision lenses. Going to the Multifocal is a huge improvement. Much more comfortable. Got some of my distance vision back, and reading is fair to good (depending on lighting). Also, they're much better for computer vision. So glad they came out with these.

5 startsHave found these contacts to be very comfortable, infact there are many times when I forget that I am wearing them and go to bed with them in.
